By leveraging our payroll services, you ensure that your payroll operations are not just accurate and timely, but also fully compliant with Australia's dynamic and complex regulatory landscape, allowing you to focus on strategic business growth.

01.

Core Payroll Processing

  • Accurate Wage and Salary Calculations: We precisely calculate gross pay, factoring in standard wages, salaries, commissions, bonuses, overtime, and allowances. Our systems are continuously updated to reflect changes in the National Minimum Wage (which will be $24.95 per hour from July 1, 2025) and various Modern Awards or Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) relevant to your industry.

  • Tax Withholding (PAYG): We accurately calculate and withhold Pay As You Go (PAYG) tax for each employee, ensuring compliance with current ATO tax tables and individual tax file declarations. We then remit these amounts to the ATO on your behalf.

  • Superannuation Guarantee (SG) Management: We calculate and process mandatory superannuation contributions. Crucially, we will ensure that from July 1, 2025, your contributions meet the increased Super Guarantee rate of 12% for all eligible employees. We manage the secure and compliant remittance of these contributions to employees' chosen super funds via SuperStream.

  • Deductions and Benefits Management: We handle all types of deductions, including:

    • Mandatory: Child support garnishees, HECS-HELP repayments, etc.

    • Voluntary: Salary sacrifice arrangements, health insurance premiums, union fees, or loan repayments. We also assist with the administration of employee benefits linked to payroll.

  • Payslip Generation and Distribution: We generate clear, legally compliant payslips that include all required details (employee name, ABN, pay period, gross/net pay, deductions, superannuation, leave balances, etc.). These can be securely distributed electronically, often through an employee self-service portal.

  • Payment Processing: We can facilitate the direct payment of net wages to your employees' bank accounts and ensure timely remittance of PAYG, superannuation, and other third-party payments.

02.

Australian Compliance & Reporting

  • Single Touch Payroll (STP) Phase 2 Reporting: This is a cornerstone of our service. We manage and lodge your payroll information directly to the ATO with every pay run, adhering strictly to STP Phase 2 requirements. This includes granular reporting of:

    • Disaggregated gross income (itemising overtime, allowances, paid leave, bonuses).

    • Detailed employment and taxation conditions (e.g., employment basis, tax treatment code).

    • Income types and country codes (for employees working overseas).

    • Child support garnishees and deductions.

    • Leave entitlements and their classification.

  • End-of-Financial-Year (EOFY) Finalisation: We handle all EOFY reconciliation and rollover processes, ensuring accurate and timely finalisation of your STP data by the July 14, 2025 deadline for the 2024-25 financial year. This makes tax time easier for your employees.

  • State-based Payroll Tax: We assist with the calculation and reporting of payroll tax obligations for the relevant Australian states or territories where your business operates, navigating the different thresholds and rates.

  • Workers' Compensation Data Provision: We provide the necessary payroll data to assist you with your workers' compensation insurance reporting requirements.

  • Fair Work Act & Modern Award Compliance: We stay abreast of all changes to the Fair Work Act and relevant Modern Awards, ensuring that your pay rates, penalty rates, allowances, and leave entitlements are always compliant. This is crucial for avoiding underpayment claims and potential legal issues, especially with the criminalisation of wage theft as of January 1, 2025.

03.
